Joseph is known for working with multiple media, but he’s best known for his own unique, revolutionary process: Pres/Sent Art©. Joseph’s Pres/Sent Art© is a relatively new, visual/tactile approach born from years of personal exploration, experimentation and creative work.
Created from pressure-sensitive materials, the process involves self-adhesive pieces and transforms them into a valid art medium for artistic expression.
To the naked eye, the colors and shapes might look like the defining factor. But, with a deeper look, one can see that Pres/Sent Art© is a unique relationship between the object and surface. Everything from ordinary rolls of plastic to bookbinding to rolls of electrical tape are placed on a range of surfaces, both one-dimensional and three.
Each piece is a successful end-result of a creative challenge done within the limits of the materials – a true testament to the tenacity of an artist who has never given up his love for making art, despite the demands of everyday life.
